Julius Silvert, Inc., a leading food distribution company in the Philadelphia area, is seeking an experienced Sanitation Technician for full-time Day and Overnight shifts. The role focuses on maintaining hospital-grade cleanliness across our facility and warehouses.

You will perform daily cleaning tasks, operate scrubbers and lifts, handle pressure washers, pallets, and various cleaning tools while adhering to safety standards and pest-control responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Daily checklist including dry, refrigerated, and freezer cleaning by area/aisle/dock.
• Operate scrubber to keep floors clean and sanitized.
• Use high-reach scissor lift to clean refrigeration units, racks, walls, ceilings.
• Maneuver product with pallet jack for cleaning.
• Operate pressure washer for deep cleaning.
• Work in tight spaces and varying temperatures.
• Scrape, scrub, wash and sanitize surfaces as needed.
• Assist with spill cleanup and resolution.
• Check, clean and replace pest control devices.
• Clean offices, breakrooms, and bathrooms.
• Handle cleaning agents, chemicals, and supplies safely.
• Perform sanitation duties as assigned.
• Maintain daily sanitation and cleanliness of the facility.

Our highly successful food distribution company is seeking an experienced professional full-time Sanitation Technician. The selected candidate must have the ability and/or experience to perform with results reflecting the cleanliness of a hospital. We are currently hiring for both day & overnight shifts.

Responsibilities

• Daily checklist to include Dry, Refrigerated, and Freezer warehouse cleaning by area/aisle/dock
• Operate scrubber to ensure all floor surfaces are clean and sanitized
• Operate high reach scissor lift to clean refrigeration units, high racking, walls, ceilings, etc.
• Operate pallet jack to maneuver product for cleaning
• Operate pressure washer for deep cleaning
• Ability to work in tight spaces, enclosed areas, varying temperatures
• Proficient in scraping, scrubbing, washing and sanitizing all surfaces and areas as needed
• Skilled and attentive to spill cleanup and resolution
• Check, clean and replace any pest control devices throughout facility
• Cleaning of all offices, breakroom, bathrooms
• Skilled user of cleaning agents, chemicals, and supplies (scrubbers, mops, sweeper, broom, quick-dry, vacuum, etc.) to support facility cleanliness
• Perform all sanitation duties as necessary and assigned
• Responsible for the daily sanitation and cleanliness of the facility
