Job summary

Wilcox Farms in Great Falls, MT is hiring for a second shift on our egg processing plant’s sanitation crew. You will start on the egg line briefly before focusing on cleaning and sanitizing production areas and equipment to meet USDA standards.

Job Summary
Position Summary

We are hiring for the second shift position at our egg processing plant in Great Falls. The first two hours of the shift are as an egg line operator and the rest of the shift is a part of our sanitation crew. This role is responsible for ensuring all production areas and equipment are cleaned and sanitized to meet or exceed USDA and food safety standards.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Works as a member of the production/sanitation crew in its nightly operations in our Egg Processing plant.
  • Works on our production line stacking products, checking for defective products, and palletizing eggs.
  • Disassembles parts of the processing equipment, sanitizes them, and reassembles them.
  • Washes and sanitizes all processing equipment, meeting or exceeding USDA standards.
  • Washes floors, walls, and bathrooms of the plant.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Requirements

Required:

  • Ability to work in a fast‑paced, team‑focused environment
  • Basic computer literacy
  • Strong attention to detail, reliability, and communication skills
  • Willingness to follow all safety and quality guidelines

Preferred:

  • Sanitation experience in a food manufacturing environment
  • Knowledge of HACCP and GMP standards
  • Experience in a food/manufacturing facility
Skills & Abilities
  • Basic math skills (add, subtract, multiply, divide using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals)
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to stand, bend, reach, and walk for extended periods
  • Fine motor manipulation
  • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs consistently
  • Comfortable working with cleaning chemicals
  • Ability to work in a wet and temperature‑variable environment
