Job summary

Wegmans in New York's bakeshop facility is seeking a production worker to produce, assemble and package baked goods for store shelves. You will operate baking and packaging equipment and help ensure product quality.

You will label containers, log batch cards, perform quality checks and follow food safety standards. The role emphasizes safety, clean work areas, and adherence to labor guidelines in a fast-paced team environment.

• Produce, assemble and package products, operating machinery and equipment as necessary for the job
• Properly label all containers and carts, fill out log sheets, and complete tasks on batch cards
• Perform quality checks and properly handle products to ensure they meet food safety standards
• Practice safety techniques, complying with equipment maintenance
• Follow guidelines and labor laws, safely completing work, and maintaining a clean work environment
