Base pay range

Connections Personnel is hiring for a temporary sanitation tech to cover a sick leave for our client located in Carteret, NJ. Looking for a candidate with 1-2 years of maintenance/ janitorial background to join the team.

Responsibilities

• Daily cleaning of office areas including emptying of trash receptacles and vacuuming of carpets.
• Daily cleaning of floor surfaces in lobby, hallways, and break rooms.
• Daily cleaning of food handling areas in both break rooms.
• Cleaning of break room coffee equipment and preparing coffee several times daily.
• Daily cleaning and re-supplying of office area bathrooms.
• Daily cleaning of the locker room.
• Takes direction on assignments from Lead Technician.
• Help with draining of wastewater if needed.
• Other tasks as assigned.
• Follow all safety rules/procedures and maintain an accident and on-the-job- injury free record.
• Compliance with all relevant SQF procedures and regulations.
• Ability to work OT if needed.
• Must be able to work alone without supervision.
• Must be able to communicate effectively.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum one (1) years sanitation experience in an industrial setting.

Schedule: 8am-5pm Monday thru Friday and possible OT.
