Job summary

Prostaffworkforce is seeking a Sanitation Associate to support cleanliness, safety, and efficiency within a facility in Piscataway, NJ. This hands-on role suits a dependable candidate with sanitation, janitorial, or warehouse experience who takes pride in high cleanliness and safety standards.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED
• 1-3 years of related work experience
• Ability to lift 40 lbs frequently and work in varying conditions

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize manufacturing equipment per SQF and applicable certifications
• Scrub and handle small/large machine parts, containers, floors and surfaces
• Follow safety procedures when using chemicals and diluting cleaners
• Proper disposal of garbage
• Maintain lunchroom and restroom facilities
• Follow current cGMPs and other regulatory requirements
• All other duties as assigned

Contract-to-Hire

Pay Rate: $18/hr

Schedule

Monday – Friday

Mid shift -11 am - 7:30 pm

3rd shift -7 pm - 4:30 am

Duties & Responsibilities

• Responsible for cleaning and sanitation of manufacturing equipment according to SQF and other certification requirements
• Cleaning duties include scrubbing and handling both small and large machine parts, storage containers, floors, production, or food contact surfaces
• Must follow safety procedures when using chemicals and dilute cleaning agents appropriately
• Proper disposal of garbage
• Maintaining lunchroom and restroom facilities
• Follow current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP’s)
• All other duties as assigned

Requirements and Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED
• 1-3 years of related work experience
• Ability to work in extreme atmospheric conditions (temperature, noise, fumes, dust, etc.)
• Ability to frequently lift 40lbs
• Good interpersonal skills
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal
