Job summary

Lamb Weston Holdings, Inc. in Boardman, OR seeks a Sanitation Technician Trainee to help ensure safe, quality products by following established cleaning procedures and chemical usage in a fast-paced production environment.

The role includes training, strong safety emphasis, and opportunities to grow within a global food company that serves customers in over 100 countries. You will work across departments and support sanitation operations daily.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work with chemicals.
• Able to read simple instructions and memos.
• Able to write reports and forms.
• Able to present and listen effectively in one-on-one and small group settings.
• Strong safety and sanitation emphasis.
• Bilingual candidates encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Comply with safety policies, practices, and procedures.
• Clean sanitation areas and shovel debris from floors.
• Communicate with production supervisor about cleaning hours or changes.
• Handle chemicals and know the purpose of each chemical used.
• Complete proper paperwork for all sanitation areas and duties.
• Maintain and track all sanitation equipment.
• Scrub equipment and use foamer (chemicals, sanitizers, etc.).
• Keep designated sanitation area clean at all times.
• Notify sanitation supervisor of any safety concerns or equipment issues.
• Maintain communication with all departments.
• Must be able to safely drive a forklift.
• Other duties as assigned.
