Job summary

Lamb Weston in Boardman, OR is seeking an Ingredient Technician Trainee to monitor the batter system, operate mixing and packaging equipment, and maintain sanitation. You will drive a powered industrial truck to move ingredients, manage inventory, and assist with batter/ingredient handling areas.

The role requires adherence to safety rules, ability to read and follow QA specs, and basic computer skills (Word/Excel) for inventory tasks.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; experience in sanitation or lift truck operation is a plus.
• Ability to read and understand English; work with minimal supervision.
• Willingness to follow safety rules and use inventory systems.

Responsibilities

• Monitor batter system and operate related equipment; maintain sanitation in the area.
• Drive a powered industrial truck and move ingredients or materials as required.
• Maintain inventory by ticketing and using a computer (Word/Excel).
• Inspect lift truck and report any deficiencies; ensure proper safety procedures.
• Complete paperwork accurately and adhere to First In First Out procedures.
