Job summary

The Simplot Company in the GF Grand Forks area is seeking a sanitation associate to support cleaning, chemical handling, and safety procedures on site. You will log chemical usage, transport chemicals safely, and participate in ongoing training to maintain high sanitation standards.

Responsibilities include following SOPs, maintaining hazard controls, and collaborating with team members to meet operational goals.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• Must be able to stand on concrete floors for long periods.
• Must work in confined spaces and hazardous environments with PPE.
• Ability to perform basic math operations for measurements and logs.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and maneuver in tight spaces.

Responsibilities

• Ensures no injuries to self or others by following safe work practices and policies.
• Records chemical usage on the Chemical Log.
• Transports chemicals by hand cart to and from the chemical room safely.
• Completes regular cleaning duties as assigned.
• Conducts periodic testing and documentation of foaming and sanitizing solution.
• Assists with training to ensure proper sanitation procedures.
• Maintains OSHA forklift truck certificates.
• Attends training activities to apply new skills.
• Ensures self-compliance with company policies.
• Interacts with team members and support groups in a collaborative way.
