Seneca Foods in Yuma, AZ is seeking a Sanitation Technician 1 to help maintain high hygiene standards across processing equipment, warehouses, and the surrounding environment. The role focuses on cleaning and sanitizing areas in accordance with GMPs, SSOPs, and SQF documentation, with a strong emphasis on safety and teamwork.

You will follow SOPs, report equipment issues, and work in wet conditions, often nights or weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean work area, free of safety hazards.
• Collect raw materials and finished products from the floor as needed.
• Dispose of raw materials properly.
• Collaborate with colleagues and communicate effectively.
• Perform repetitive tasks with attention to detail.
• Work in wet environments for extended periods.
• Follow SOPs, GMPs, and company policies.
• Report damaged equipment to a supervisor.
• Prevent cross-contamination of products and surfaces.
• Complete SQF documentation.
• Maintain sanitation equipment (foamers, pressure washers, etc.).
