Job summary

Schwan's Company in Oklahoma is seeking a full-time sanitation associate to operate steam and high-pressure hoses, clean and sanitize equipment, and maintain a production environment that meets stringent safety and quality standards.

You will follow sanitation schedules, document chemical use, and verify that cleaning passes micro indicator tests, enabling reliable equipment readiness and ongoing process improvements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred with 0–1 year of related experience in sanitation or food manufacturing.
• Basic understanding of facility cleaning procedures and safety standards (OSHA, local/state/federal) and GMPs.
• Ability to follow regulatory, customer, and company sanitation policies.

Responsibilities

• Operate steam and high-pressure hoses to safely clean and sanitize equipment and facilities.
• Disassemble and reassemble equipment as directed.
• Follow sanitation schedules and document routine cleaning of the facility and production line.
• Use and document chemical concentrations per procedures and ensure correct chemicals are used.
• Verify that cleaning and sanitizing passes all micro indicator tests and equipment is ready.
