Job summary

Pilgrim’s is seeking a sanitation team member to maintain cleanliness, safety, and food quality in our poultry processing plant. You’ll clean and sanitize equipment, production areas, and facilities following USDA and company standards, using PPE and correct chemical handling.

The role is fast-paced, requires reliability, attention to detail, and a teamwork mindset. Typical schedule Monday–Friday with some weekend work, plus paid benefits after an introductory period. This is an hourly position.

Qualifications

• Experience in sanitation and chemicals handling in a food manufacturing setting.
• Ability to multitask and work quickly in a fast-paced environment, with good communication and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize production equipment, tools, and work areas per USDA and company standards.
• Prepare, mix, and safely apply cleaning chemicals with proper PPE.
• Inspect areas after sanitation and report hazards promptly.
• Maintain organized, safe work environment and proper storage of tools and chemicals.
• Collaborate with team to complete sanitation tasks efficiently.
