Job summary

Paycom - ATS in Wisconsin is seeking a Sanitation Operator to manage plant sanitation and chemical handling for a food manufacturing facility. You will follow SSOPs, SOPs, and GMPs while supporting QA and safety programs.

The role requires a high school diploma, forklift certification, English literacy, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. You will interact with multiple teams to maintain sanitation standards and prompt data logging.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Must be a self-starter and self-motivated with keen observation skills.
• Must be able to work under a timeline and meet that timeline.
• Acts as a problem solver and team player.
• Must become certified forklift.
• Must be able to read and write in English.
• Required to follow and support GMPs and food safety practices.
• Effectively use a personal computer/tablet and associated applications.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and focus under stressful situations.

Responsibilities

• Sanitation and Safety: Understand the sanitation process and chemical usage. Complete daily SSOPs for wet and dry sides of the plant.
• Dispense and prepare chemicals to proper concentrations.
• Perform routine cleaning and additional cleaning as assigned; inform supervisor when supplies replenish.
• Log chemical usage and maintain SSOPs; follow SOPs.
• Assist QA Manager to ensure food safety is achieved; may support production as needed.
• Operate forklift when required.
• Weigh and label bins; lift up to 50 pounds.
