Job summary

Iberia Foods LLC is seeking reliable, detail-oriented Cleaning Staff to maintain cleanliness and sanitation across our production and warehouse facilities in Brooklyn. This is a part-time role with the potential for full-time work depending on staffing needs.

You will follow sanitation protocols, operate cleaning equipment, and help keep our environment safe and compliant with company and FDA standards while supporting a clean, organized workplace.

Qualifications

• Prior cleaning, janitorial, or sanitation experience preferred (especially in food/beverage or manufacturing settings).
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods.
• Understanding of cleaning products and safety practices.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow directions.
• Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize production floors, equipment, and common areas according to company and FDA standards
• Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors regularly
• Dispose of trash and recyclables safely and efficiently
• Refill hygiene supplies (soap, paper towels, sanitizers, etc.)
• Follow daily cleaning schedules and checklists
• Perform deep-cleaning tasks as needed
• Keep track of cleaning supply levels and report when restocking is needed
• Follow all safety guidelines and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE)
• Report any safety issues or maintenance concerns to the supervisor
