Job summary

Iberia Foods is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented part-time Cleaning Staff to maintain cleanliness and sanitation throughout our production and warehouse facilities in New York. The ideal candidate will follow sanitation protocols closely, work efficiently, and help keep our environment safe and clean.

The position offers part-time hours with pay ranging from $16.00 to $18.00 per hour, along with opportunities to contribute to a safe, hygienic workplace within a food-related manufacturing

Qualifications

• Prior cleaning, janitorial, or sanitation experience preferred (especially in food/beverage or manufacturing settings).
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods.
• Understanding of cleaning products and safety practices.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow directions.
• Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize production floors, equipment, and common areas according to company and FDA standards.
• Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors regularly.
• Dispose of trash and recyclables safely and efficiently.
• Refill hygiene supplies (soap, paper towels, sanitizers, etc.).
• Follow daily cleaning schedules and checklists.
• Perform deep-cleaning tasks as needed.
• Keep track of cleaning supply levels and report when restocking is needed.
• Follow all safety guidelines and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Report any safety issues or maintenance concerns to the supervisor.
