Reporting to the Sanitation Supervisor, the Sanitation Worker is responsible for cleaning soiled supplies and equipment used in the production process. Additionally, this individual maintains a clean, safe, and efficient work area.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Maintain high standards of food safety and product quality through cleaning and sanitation of equipment, utensils, and the facility.
  • Clean buildings by emptying trash, sweeping, and surface cleaning.
  • Operate sanitation tools and chemicals, with knowledge of food safety protocols.
  • Prior experience in food manufacturing is preferred.
  • Communicate effectively and grasp tasks quickly.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:

Minimum of 6 months sanitation experience required.

Work Environment:
  • Work performed in a cold environment.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
  • Standing for long periods.
