Job summary

Ken’s Foods is seeking a Facility Sanitor (1st shift) to support sanitation and housekeeping in a fast-paced production environment in Lebanon, IN. The role involves cleaning, drum washing, and operating sanitation equipment while adhering to food safety standards.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED and 1–3 months of related experience, is able to lift up to 50 pounds, and may drive a forklift as-needed. Ken’s Foods offers weekly pay and strong benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; 1–3 months related experience or training.
• Basic math skills to measure weight, volume, distance.
• Able to lift or move up to 50 lbs (occasionally up to 100 lbs).
• Able to stand/walk, use hands and fingers, and reach with arms.
• Optional forklift license or training.

Responsibilities

• Trash, debris and waste removal from the plant.
• General housekeeping.
• Ensures compliance with corporate standards and systems to monitor food safety, food safety culture, quality and facility cleanliness.
• Drum washing
• Operate floor scrubber
• Operate manual pallet jack and electric pallet stacker
• Operate drum crushers and cardboard baler machine
• Barrel washing
• Support recycling efforts by staging recyclable materials for takeover
• Properly use water hoses and chemicals to clean and sanitize areas as designated
• Other duties as assigned
