Job summary

All About Personnel is seeking a dependable Sanitation Technician to support manufacturing operations in Ottawa, IL. The role focuses on cleaning and sanitizing production and packaging equipment to meet quality and safety standards, with a 1st shift and hourly pay of $17.00.

The ideal candidate will handle cleaning chemicals, perform physical tasks, and follow strict sanitation and safety procedures in a fast-paced environment. Weekend/holiday availability may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Stand/walk up to 12 hours per shift.
• Lift up to 50 pounds.
• Work in wet, humid environments.
• Follow safety & chemical handling requirements.
• Read and understand chemical labels and SDS information.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize production and packaging equipment following safety procedures.
• Clean and sanitize batching and holding tanks per company procedures.
• Perform light mechanical tasks to assist with equipment cleaning.
• Use cleaning chemicals and hot water safely and effectively.
• Sweep, scrub, and mop production areas and floors.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Follow instructions and communicate with team members.
• Complete sanitation tasks while meeting production/quality standards.
