House of Flavors is seeking a Sanitation Technician to maintain sanitary conditions in our Ludington, MI facility. This at-will position reports to the Sanitation Manager and Supervisor and focuses on equipment sanitization per the Food Safety Program.

The role involves cleaning, troubleshooting, documenting procedures, and maintaining safe practices with cleaning chemicals. Strong attention to GMP and safety standards is essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required along with a minimum of 3 months of work experience in a related field.
• Ability to read and write in order to follow instructions and document procedures.

Responsabilités

• Cleans and sanitizes process equipment including tanks, freezers, fillers, pumps, pipes and conveyors.
• Disassembles and reassembles equipment using lock-out/tag-out and GMP practices.
• Cleans floors, walls, ceilings and adjacent areas to the specified cleaning standard.
• Removes trash and debris and assists production as needed.
• Operates Clean-In-Place (CIP) systems and documents procedures.
• Performs preventative maintenance on pumps, valves and gaskets.
• Recognizes allergen-related issues and follows allergen procedures.
• Rotates through different stations as needed and supports the sanitation team.
• Performs other duties requested by management.
