Job summary

House Of Flavors is seeking a Sanitation Technician to sanitize equipment and maintain cleanliness in a fast-paced food manufacturing facility in Ludington, MI. The role involves lifting, standing up to 12 hours, and working on 2nd shift, with strict adherence to GMPs and allergen policies.

The position requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and at least 3 months of related experience; training on safety and chemical handling is provided.

Qualifications

• Education/Experience: High School Diploma or equivalent and 3 months of related work experience.
• Language Skills: reading and writing to follow instructions and communicate.
• Mathematical Skills: basic math including temperature and time calculations.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize process equipment including tanks, freezers, fillers, pumps, pipes, and conveyors.
• Disassemble and reassemble equipment using lock-out/tag-out procedures and GMPs.
• Clean floors, walls, and ceilings of production areas to company standards.
• Remove trash and debris and assist production as needed.
• Operate CIP system and document/ troubleshoot CIP activities.
