Job summary

HorseShoe Beverage Company in Westminster, CO is seeking a Sanitation Technician to support daily sanitation protocols, MSS and HACCP systems, and documentation.

You will work alongside the Sanitation Supervisor, perform nightly cleaning checks, and stay current on equipment and techniques to maintain food safety standards.

This non-exempt, on-site role offers hourly pay of $22–$25 and opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• Reading skills required to understand procedures and safety guidelines.
• Strong organizational ability to manage multiple sanitation tasks and records.
• Effective time management to complete nightly cleaning and inspections on schedule.
• Ability to lift up to 75-100 pounds as needed for cleaning and equipment access.
• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates with the Sanitation Supervisor to direct sanitation technicians.
• Completes nightly cleaning checks to meet pre-operations goals.
• Maintains knowledge of equipment and sanitation techniques to uphold QA standards.
• Ensures compliance with Safe Quality Food standards and related programs.
• Reports repairs and maintenance needs of equipment to Facilities Management.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Position Summary

Coordinates with production employees daily to ensure Sanitation protocols, MSS and HACCP systems are followed, executed and documented.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assists the Sanitation Supervisor in leading and directing the activities of the Sanitation Technicians.
• Completes a nightly cleaning check to ensure all areas and equipment are ready to meet pre-operations goals established by QA Manager.
• Remains current on new equipment and sanitation techniques to enhance the overall quality and cleanliness of Claremont Food’s facilities.
• Responsible for knowledge and adherence to Safe Quality Food safety Level 2 compliance standards; as trained upon annually.
• Informs Facility Maintenance Manager of all repair, preventive maintenance, and upkeep issues on all operational equipment through continuous daily inspections.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
