Job summary

Operation Support Inc. is seeking a part-time Sanitation Associate in California to perform cleaning and sanitation duties across production areas.

The role requires adherence to GMP, food safety, and quality policies, with responsibilities including equipment setup, chemical cleaning, and documentation of sanitation tasks. The position involves lifting up to 50 pounds, working in a cold environment, and a flexible, fast-paced team setting.

Responsibilities

• Follow all GMP procedures.
• Follow all Food Safety, Food Quality and Food Security Policies.
• Report any equipment failure to the Sanitation Manager/Supervisor.
• Set up and tear down production equipment as needed to perform specific cleaning applications.
• Use chemicals to clean and sanitize food contact and non-food contact surfaces.
• Inspect all equipment before releasing the line to the Sanitation Manager / Supervisor for inspection.
• Responsible for documentation of job tasks performed on sanitation checklist.
• Must wear protective equipment and follow all safety procedures (PPE’S).
• Use basic cleaning hands tools to ensure proper and safe cleaning of conveyor belts, floors/walls, trash dock, and other areas of the facility.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
