Job summary

Kerry in Byesville, Ohio, is seeking a Production Sanitation Technician to uphold food safety, quality, and site cleanliness. You will work with production and maintenance teams on daily, weekly, and scheduled sanitation activities in compliance with standards.

Responsibilities include cleaning equipment, performing CIP/COP on tanks and pipes, handling sanitation chemicals, and maintaining logs. Basic math, safety focus, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; 18+.
• Experience in Manufacturing Sanitation, food or chemical production preferred.
• Chemical handling experience preferred.
• Basic math and problem solving skills are important.

What You'll Do

The Production Sanitation Technician plays a critical role in food safety, quality, and workplace cleanliness. You'll work closely with production and maintenance teams, performing daily, weekly, and scheduled sanitation activities in compliance with company, customer, and government standards. What You'll Need to Succeed

• High school diploma or equivalent; must be 18+.
• Manufacturing Sanitation, food or chemical production, or related experience preferred.
• Chemical handling experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
• Basic math and problem-solving skills.
• Mechanical aptitude preferred.
• Pallet jack or forklift experience preferred.
• Microsoft Office and SAP experience preferred.
• Reliable, self‑motivated, and team‑oriented.
• Able to work independently and in a team environment.
• Able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.

The hiring rate for this position is $18.41 per hour. Shift Hours 1030PM-700AM, Monday-Friday Night, with Overtime Available.
