Job summary

ManpowerGroup is seeking a Sanitation Technician for a leading food manufacturing company. The role involves deep cleaning and sanitation of production equipment, complying with GMP/SQF/LOTO, and supporting quality and food safety teams.

The position offers a 5:30 PM–5:30 AM rotating 2-2-3 schedule with every other weekend, weekly pay, and opportunities for growth in a safe, team-oriented environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Comfortable working in a wet environment while regularly using hoses, power washers, and cleaning chemicals.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, climb, and work on your feet for the duration of a 12-hour shift.
• Ability to regularly lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds and occasionally more with assistance.
• Ability to work a 5:30 PM - 5:30 AM rotating 2-2-3 schedule, including every other weekend and overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform deep cleaning and sanitation of food production equipment, machinery, and facility areas using industrial power washers, foamers, and sanitation equipment.
• Disassemble machinery and equipment components, thoroughly wash and sanitize parts, and reassemble equipment following cleaning procedures.
• Use high-pressure water systems and approved cleaning chemicals to remove food residue and maintain food safety standards.
• Follow GMP, SQF, Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), chemical handling, and PPE requirements at all times.
• Complete sanitation documentation and support housekeeping, allergen control, waste removal, and continuous improvement initiatives.
