Job summary

Buffalo Rock Company is seeking a Sanitation Technician for the Central Hub - Vertique system in Birmingham, AL. You will follow the Master Cleaning Schedule, clean equipment and facilities, and support operational readiness at the Central Hub Distribution Center.

The role emphasizes adherence to GMP standards, safety procedures, and teamwork with sanitation and operations staff. Regular shifts include nights and weekends as needed.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED required or preferred.
• Experience: Six months of sanitation, janitorial, or similar warehouse role preferred.
• Training: Participation in food safety related training may be required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness according to the Master Cleaning Schedule for the Vertique System.
• Operate cleaning equipment safely and report malfunctions.
• Keep all sanitation supplies properly stored and labeled.
• Follow GMPs and CFR 21 110 food safety procedures.
• Collaborate with sanitation and operations teams to meet objectives.
