Daybreak Foods, Inc. in Michigan is seeking a Sanitation Technician to clean and sanitize egg processing equipment on a daily basis. The role follows a rotating schedule: three days one week, four days the next, continuing in this pattern.
The technician reports to the Processing Supervisor and earns $17.33 per hour while ensuring GMP compliance and safe handling of cleaning chemicals. Responsibilities include disassembling and reassembling equipment, maintaining records, and adhering to GMPs.

The Sanitation Technician is responsible of cleaning and sanitizing the egg processing equipment on a daily basis following the processing shift. The schedule will be working for three days one week and four days the following week-continuing with this rotation. The Sanitation Technician will report to the Processing Supervisor.

Stand and walk constantly; grip, grasp, push, pull, reach, bend, stoop, lift up to 10 pounds frequently; sit, climb, lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.
Frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts and water, and chemicals. Temperature is regulated for operations standards. Cooler temperatures occur in specific areas. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Proper personal protective equipment will be required during certain working conditions. Employees are required to comply with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP’s) due to working in a food manufacturing environment (hairnets, clean clothes, etc.).
