Job summary

McLane Company, Inc. is seeking a Sanitation Teammate to help maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment.

You will perform custodial duties across offices, break rooms, distribution centers, and transportation areas, including floors, surfaces, and restrooms. The role emphasizes attention to detail, teamwork, and safety, with duties extending to grounds, painting, and general upkeep as needed.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Able to perform accurate visual inspections.
• Must be able to read, write, and understand English at a functional level for safety and instructions.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean work environment in offices, break rooms, DC, and Transportation areas.
• Clean offices: vacuum/mop floors, empty trash, wipe surfaces, clean windows/walls.
• Clean and sanitize restrooms, empty trash, sweep/mop floors, replenish supplies.
• Clean break rooms, entrances and locker areas, wash windows, sweep/mop floors, empty trash.
• Sweep/mop floors, empty trash, clean dock plates, clean racks, put away pallets in DC/Transportation.
• Pick up/empty trash, maintain walkways, cut grass, empty cigarette cans in Division Grounds.
• Paint inside and outside of the facility.
• Other duties may be assigned.
