Job summary

Cargill in Mason City, IA is seeking a Sanitation Team Member for the 3rd shift (11:00 PM - 7:00 AM). You will perform cleaning, sanitizing and equipment teardown, ensuring sanitary conditions and product quality. Requires flexibility to work outdoors in a production setting and a willingness to handle food-safe chemicals.

Must be 18+, eligible to work in the US, and able to lift frequently. Safety training and use of protective gear are part of daily duties.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older and legally eligible to work in the United States.
• Able to read, write and speak English fluently for safety and procedures.
• Basic math skills required for measurements and documentation.
• Willingness to work in hot, cold and wet environments in a production setting.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to safe work practices and follow government regulations and sanitation guidelines.
• Perform cleaning, disassembly/assembly, cleaning in place, and preventive maintenance.
• Scrape, broom, wash, sanitize, and lift/move containers and equipment as needed.
• Operate sanitation equipment and support inspections of equipment.
