Job summary

Dot Foods, Inc. in Illinois seeks a Sanitation Supervisor to lead 11 direct reports and ensure food safety through sanitation and pest control. You will train staff, monitor activities, and communicate expectations to the team, maintaining high standards of cleanliness and efficiency.

Responsibilities include audits, leading continuous improvement with lean tools, and coordinating hiring and turnover for sanitation staff, with a 7:00 AM–3:30 PM schedule and occasional travel.

Qualifications

• Strong leadership, planning, communication, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Train assigned personnel to accurately and consistently use sound cleaning processes in a safe and efficient manner.
• Monitor and document assigned personnel and work activity.
• Communicate clear work expectations and results achieved to assigned personnel.
• Responsible for food safety requirements as they relate to sanitation and pest control.
• Responsible for Sanitation hiring, utilization, and turnover.
• Participate in periodic audits.
• Lead continuous improvement efforts while applying lean thinking and tools to eliminate waste.
