Job summary

Ecowize North America is seeking a Sanitation SSOP Clerk to act as the administrative backbone of our food safety and compliance operations. You will manage sanitation documentation, regulatory records, and administrative tasks to keep the facility compliant.

Reporting to the Site Manager, you will track daily SSOP tasks, coordinate records, maintain training logs, and prepare reports for plant management and HR, supporting audit readiness for SQF, GFSI, and HACCP.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; science/manufacturing coursework preferred.
• 1–2 years clerical/administrative or food safety/sanitation experience; 3–5 years preferred.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook), data entry, and electronic recordkeeping systems.
• Familiarity with SSOPs, GMPs, HACCP, and USDA/FDA regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

• Track sanitation daily tasks and non-compliance issues; address follow-up.
• Maintain logs for sanitation activities, pre-operational inspections, chemical inventory, MSS.
• Coordinate safety training records; maintain attendance and HR/timekeeping data.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly compliance and staffing reports for management.
• Support plant audits for SQF, GFSI, HACCP; ensure audit readiness.
• Communicate across departments and assist leadership with admin tasks.
