Job summary

Golden Pet Manufacturing is seeking a Sanitor for night shift in Seward, NE. You will perform sanitation duties across production and packaging areas, following MSS schedules, and ensure all stations and equipment are clean and compliant with safety policies.

The role emphasizes teamwork, self-management, and ability to work in a cooler environment for long shifts. Prior experience in food manufacturing sanitation is valued; willingness to adapt to varying shifts is required.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Willing and able to work varying shifts and schedules.
• Ability to lift up to 60 pounds and stand for long periods.
• 1 year cleaning/sanitizing equipment in food manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Work safely, following safety, quality and sanitation policies.
• Maintain sanitary conditions in production and non-production rooms.
• Ensure hand wash/hand sanitation stations are stocked and functional.
• Manage waste tools and equipment; clean high touch points and floors.
• Perform sanitation tasks per MSS and use industrial cleaners/sanitizers.
• Promote teamwork and self-management with a positive attitude.
• Coordinate with shift lead and other teams for daily production plans.
• Understand microbiological and pest control programs related to sanitation.
• Operate industrial chemical dispensing system.
• Clean/sanitize high food safety risk areas in packaging rooms.
• Cross-train across multiple positions and prioritize tasks.
