Job summary

Allied Personnel Services seeks a Sanitation Specialist for a long-term opportunity that could lead to permanent hire. Hours are 7am-4pm, Monday through Friday, in a food manufacturing environment in the Bethlehem area.

The role requires 1–3 years of experience in food sanitation/food safety and knowledge of cleaning chemicals used on equipment. The ideal candidate will be able to work overtime, flex hours, and weekends as necessary to maintain production hygiene and regulatory compliance

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of food manufacturing experience in a sanitation/food safety role.
• Knowledge of tools and chemicals used to clean and sanitize equipment.
• Willingness to work overtime, flex hours, and weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize idle production equipment.
• Perform wet and dry cleaning of production lines.
• Ensure compliance with GMPs, SSOPs, Lock Out/Tag Out and sanitation procedures.
• Monitor cleaning chemical concentrations to ensure they meet specifications.
• Assist in proper destruction of finished products, ingredients, and biohazardous materials.

Allied Personnel is seeking candidates for a Sanitation Specialist opening! This long term opportunity could lead to perm hire. Hours are 7am-4pm, Mon-Fri. Pay is $20.00/hr.

Responsibilities:

• Clean and sanitize idle production equipment
• Perform wet and dry cleaning of production lines
• Ensure compliance with all company and regulatory standards including GMP's, SSOP's, Lock Out/Tag Out, and sanitation procedures
• Monitor cleaning chemical concentrations to ensure they comply with specs
• Help facilitate the process of proper destruction of finished products and ingredients, biohazardous materials and raw materials

Note: this work is in a varied temperature environment (hot/cold/freezer).

Candidates for this role should have 1-3 years food manufacturing experience in a food sanitation/food safety role.

Knowledge of tools and chemicals used to clean and sanitize equipment is needed.

The Ability to work overtime, flex hours, and weekends as necessary is a must.
