Job summary

Pilgrim’s is seeking a sanitation team member to clean and sanitize equipment, production areas, and facilities in a fast-paced environment. You will follow USDA and company standards, mix and apply cleaning chemicals, and maintain a safe, organized workspace while reporting hazards promptly.

The role emphasizes reliability, attention to detail, and teamwork, with opportunities to contribute to food safety and quality across poultry processing operations.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience in poultry, food, or manufacturing is a plus.
• The ability to multitask, communicate well, and follow instructions is required.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize production equipment, tools, and work areas.
• Prepare, mix, and apply cleaning chemicals following PPE and safety rules.
• Inspect areas after sanitation to ensure cleanliness and report hazards.
• Maintain an organized, safe work environment and store tools/chemicals properly.
• Follow SOPs and safety, food safety, and biosecurity guidelines.
