Job summary

SolveNow Inc. seeks a reliable Sanitation Driver to join our two-person team. You will operate a garbage truck on designated routes, collect residential waste from homes, and assist with bulk items and route adherence.

Responsibilities include safety compliance, daily vehicle inspections, and courteous interactions with residents. This role supports community cleanliness and environmental stewardship in a team-focused setting.

Qualifications

• Must hold valid CDL and DOT medical card.
• Minimum 2 years of commercial driving within last 5 years.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Background check and drug screening required.
• Steel-toed boots required.
• Understand and comply with OSHA safety standards.
• Adhere to hazardous waste disposal regulations and wear PPE.
• Able to ride and operate in a two-person sanitation truck team.
• Physically capable of handling route duties in varying weather.

Responsibilities

• Operate garbage trucks on pre-assigned routes.
• Ride in back of truck to collect waste from residences and load safely.
• Schedule and tag bulk items for separate pickup.
• Follow established routes using route maps and maintain schedules.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and fuel/clean vehicles.
• Adhere to safety protocols for waste handling, disposal, and driving.
• Provide basic maintenance and fueling of trucks as needed.
• Interact with residents professionally during collection.
• Respond to emergency collection needs when required.
