SANITATION/PORTER (Finance)
Maintain safe and sanitary conditions throughout the store in adherence to company standards and health department regulations. Responsibilities include cleaning and maintaining the exterior front entrance and sidewalk conditions, practicing safe food handling procedures, and providing excellent customer service. Minimum Requirements:
- Ability to read a technical manual, retain, and comprehend
- Ability to perform basic math functions such as addition, multiplication, subtraction, and division
- Reading/writing skills to complete forms
- Ability to work as a team member
- Demonstrated ability to communicate and comprehend
- Ability to utilize safety awareness and practices
- Good customer service skills
Desired Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Previous related work experience
Responsibilities include:
- Providing customer service and effective communication with store associates
- Practicing safe food handling procedures
- Utilizing and operating equipment to clean and maintain store floors
- Cleaning public restrooms, filling dispensers, and disposing of trash
- Cleaning walls, vents, ceilings, and exterminating pests
- Moving equipment for cleaning, replacing light bulbs, and maintaining supplies
- Shampooing and vacuuming mats and rugs, following safety procedures
- Mixing cleansers and sanitizers properly
- Spreading ice melt and shoveling snow as needed
- Performing minor maintenance on equipment
- Working cooperatively in a high-paced environment and managing conflict effectively
- Acting with honesty and integrity, following directions, and providing support to individuals with special needs
- Performing essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation
