SANITATION/PORTER (Finance)

Maintain safe and sanitary conditions throughout the store in adherence to company standards and health regulations. Responsibilities include cleaning and maintaining the exterior front entrance and sidewalks, practicing safe food handling procedures, and providing excellent customer service. Minimum Requirements:

• Ability to read and understand technical manuals.
• Basic math skills such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
• Ability to complete forms using reading and writing skills.
• Teamwork and communication skills.
• Awareness and practice of safety procedures.
• Good customer service skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Previous related work experience.

• Cleaning restrooms, emptying trash, and refilling dispensers.
• Cleaning walls, vents, and ceilings; pest control; maintaining refrigerated cases.
• Moving equipment and displays for cleaning.
• Replacing lighting bulbs and tubes.
• Maintaining cleaning supplies.
• Shampooing and vacuuming mats and rugs.
• Properly mixing cleaning agents for safety and effectiveness.
• Spreading ice melt and shoveling snow as needed.
• Performing minor maintenance on equipment.
• Working cooperatively in a fast-paced, sometimes stressful environment.
• Managing conflict constructively.
• Acting with honesty and integrity regarding customer and business information.
