Overview

Hershey Creamery Company is seeking a sanitation crew member for the night shift in Harrisburg, PA. This is a non-journalial sanitation role focused on cleaning and sanitizing food processing equipment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain sanitation of food processing equipment including CIP systems and hand cleaning.
• Maintain our highest standards of food safety, sanitation, and production requirements.
• Observe all safety procedures, Food Safety and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
• Other responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience with cleaning and sanitation of food processing equipment within the food and beverage industry preferred.
• Must be able to walk and/or stand the majority of the shift.
• Ability to lift 50-100 pounds.
• Must be able to pass all pre-employment drug screens and criminal background checks.

Details

• Shift: 2nd shift, Monday–Friday from 3:00pm to approximately 1:00am or completion.
• Location: Harrisburg, PA 17101

• Salary: Starting wage $23.82/hour; increased to $24.42 after 60 days of positive performance; overtime at $36.63/hour
• Overtime: Average 40-50 hours per week; overtime after 40 hours.
