Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in any field.
• Six years of experience in budget development, accounting, or related areas.
• Three years of supervisory/management responsibilities.
• Equivalency: associate degree plus eight years of experience including supervision.
• Valid driver’s license with good driving record.

Responsibilities

• Manages business administration activities for the Sanitation department; leads staff and delegates tasks.
• Identifies training needs and implements improvements to operations.
• Provides guidance to personnel; oversees permitting activities and licensing.
• Develops and implements budget and resource allocation; tracks revenues and expenditures.
• Represents the program area at meetings, hearings, and on boards.
• Establishes short-, mid-, and long-term goals; approves schedules and performance standards.
• Performs other work as needed.
