Job summary

Tyson Foods, a global food company, is hiring a sanitation worker for the production area. The role requires cleaning and sanitizing all production spaces in line with USDA, HACCP, and QA pre-op protocols.

You will operate a high-pressure hose and assemble/disassemble lines and equipment as needed to ensure proper cleaning and sanitizing. You must be able to lift up to 70 pounds, walk, stand, and work in possibly warm or cold, wet, or dusty conditions.

Qualifications

• Requires physical endurance including lifting up to 70 lbs.
• Strong adherence to safety policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize all areas of the production zone per USDA/HACCP/QA pre-op protocols.
• Operate high-pressure hoses and handle lines/equipment for cleaning; disassemble/assemble lines as needed.
• Clean equipment, lines, machines, floors, ceilings, lighting fixtures, and related areas; take out trash.
