Role Overview

Are you mechanically inclined? Do you enjoy taking machines apart and putting them back together? Do you have experience with hand tools or industrial chemicals? If so, we invite you to join our team as a Sanitation Laborer. Starting from handmade pastries, Martin's has grown into a multi-facility company producing and shipping products domestically and internationally. Responsibilities

• Maintain food safety and quality by following SOPs for cleaning and sanitizing.
• Ensure facility cleanliness to exceed industry and federal standards.
• Operate cleaning equipment such as pressure washers, rack washers, and floor scrubbers.
• Disassemble, clean, and reassemble machinery for production readiness.
• Transport waste and maintain external cleanliness of the facility.
• Adhere to safety and food safety protocols, including PPE and lockout/tagout procedures.
• Collaborate with team members to improve sanitation processes and report issues.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Experience in bakery or manufacturing industries preferred.
• Experience with boom and scissor lifts is a plus.

Physical Demands

Must be able to handle, reach, walk, sit, climb, and lift up to 50 pounds as needed. Vision abilities required include close, distance, color, peripheral, and depth perception.

Compensation & Schedule

• $21.72/hour with weekly pay.
• $3.00/hour shift differential for hours between 3pm-7am.
• Weekend premium, profit sharing, health benefits, PTO, and more.
• Schedule: 12:30pm - 9:00pm, with potential overtime and schedule adjustments based on business needs.
