Sanitation Machine/Facility Technician - 2nd Shift (Thurs-Mon)

Position Overview

Are you mechanically inclined? Do you enjoy taking machines apart and reassembling them? Do you have experience with hand tools or industrial chemicals? Responsibilities

• Maintain food safety and quality by following SOPs to exceed industry and federal cleaning standards.
• Continuously learn about federally mandated standards, and work efficiently and effectively in cleaning and sanitizing processes.
• Collaborate with sanitation, production, and maintenance teams through open communication.

Compensation & Benefits

• $21.72/hour, paid weekly
• $3.00/hour shift differential (for shifts between 3pm-7am)

Schedule

• 12:30pm - 9:00pm on designated rotation
• Occasional overtime and schedule changes based on business needs, including Sundays, holidays, and days off

Essential Duties

• Clean and sanitize the production facility, including machines, pipes, filters, and exterior areas.
• Operate cleaning equipment such as pressure washers, rack washers, and floor scrubbers.
• Disassemble, clean, and reassemble equipment for production.
• Transport waste and maintain exterior cleanliness.
• Adhere to safety protocols, wear PPE, and follow lockout/tagout procedures.
• Identify opportunities for improvement and report safety or quality issues.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• Relevant experience in bakery or manufacturing industries
• Experience with boom and scissor lifts

Physical Requirements

Must be able to handle tools, reach, walk, sit, climb, and lift up to 50 pounds as needed. Vision capabilities include close, distance, color, peripheral, and depth perception.
