Job summary

Dessert Holdings is seeking a Night Shift Sanitation Supervisor to clean and maintain our campus, including offices, production floor, and grounds in Smyrna, GA. You will lead sanitation teams, train staff, and manage budgets for chemicals and operations supplies.

The role supports plant leadership on weekends, maintains sanitation records, and collaborates with production to resolve sanitation issues while ensuring safety, GMP, and HACCP compliance.

Qualifications

• Experience in a QA or Sanitation role in a food manufacturing environment.
• Experience in a Supervisory or Team leader role.
• Knowledge of sanitation, chemical safety, FDA, GMP, and HACCP.
• Intermediate Microsoft computer skills (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
• Ability to work a flexible work schedule as needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support the sanitation team to ensure production areas and equipment are cleaned and sanitized properly and on schedule.
• Train team members on sanitation procedures, SSOPs, GMPs, and safety standards.
• Monitor employee performance and attendance, providing coaching and feedback when needed.
• Ensure cleaning chemicals and supplies are handled, stored, and used safely.
• Inspect sanitation activities and identify areas that need improvement or corrective action.
• Work closely with production and other departments to quickly address sanitation concerns.
• Support GFSI/SQF audits and help complete corrective actions when needed.
• Maintain accurate sanitation records, inspection reports, KPIs, and required audit documentation.
• Monitor and maintain inventory of cleaning supplies, chemicals, and equipment.
• Help maintain a clean, safe, and compliant manufacturing environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Position Summary

Responsible for cleaning and maintaining of the entire campus and facility such has the office area, production floor, and outside grounds to ensure the plant is kept clean. Additionally, this position supports plantwide leadership support over the weekends and will maintain their own budget, including purchasing of chemicals, sanitation and operations supplies.

Schedule

Monday - Friday, 9:30 PM-6:00 AM, with occasional Saturdays. Start and end times may vary based on business needs.

Key Responsibilities
