Formación

• 1 year experience in sanitation.
• Must have a forklift license or the ability to obtain one.
• High school graduate or equivalent desirable.
• Previous experience in a plant manufacturing environment desirable.

Responsabilidades

• Perform janitorial and general labor functions in the manufacturing area as needed and directed.
• Follow and complete Master Sanitation Schedule duties.
• Prepare cleaning chemical foaming agents, detergents, acids, and alkali solutions.
• Clean control panels, maintain chemical cage and replenish sanitizing dip tanks.
• Teardown and reassemble equipment for cleaning.
• Wash down floors, tank alcoves, flow panels and processing equipment.
• Operate and maintain foamer equipment and adjust chemical doses.
• Report food safety and quality issues to supervisor or during shift.
• Demonstrate reliability, punctuality and professional conduct.

Job SummaryProvide janitorial and general labor services in the manufacturing area as directed by supervisor. These tasks will change daily and may consist of cleaning in the production area, weed control, and yard clean-up, or other manual labor duties as needed. In the absence of this position, the Production Laborer will perform these job duties.Primary ResponsibilitiesFood Safety is the responsibility of all Ventura Coastal manufacturing employees. All Ventura Coastal manufacturing employees must be aware of CCPs in their area and how to document them appropriately. All staff must report food safety and quality problems to their immediate supervisor or the supervisor in charge during their shift.Perform janitorial and general labor functions in the manufacturing area as needed and directed.Follow and complete specific duties outlined in Master Sanitation Schedule.Prepare cleaning chemical foaming agents, detergents, acids, and alkali solutions.Cleaning of control panels, maintaining supplies in chemical cage and replenish sanitizing dip tanks.Teardown and reassemble equipment for cleaning.Communicate with supervisor of issues and concerns.Pro-active attitude towards cleaning and sanitizing.Follow all safety rules and practices to include the wearing of all essential personal protective equipment.Wash down and foam floors, tank alcoves, flow panels, processing equipment.Operate and maintain foamer equipment. Calculate chemical doses and make necessary adjustments.Ability to perform accurate calculations of basic chemical titrationEnd cap all lines, flow panels, tanks, and equipment when not in use.Maintain all working areas clean including sweeping floors and removing trash.Follow all personal hygiene and food safety practices.Demonstrate reliable attendance, consistent punctuality and a conscientious attitude always.Act professionally towards customers, vendors and other visitors to the plant.Report food safety and quality issues immediate supervisor or supervisor on duty.Perform other duties as required or assigned.Qualifications and Education Requirements1 year experience in sanitationMust have a forklift license or the ability to obtain one.Ability to speak English desirable.High school graduate or equivalent desirable.Previous experience in a plant manufacturing environment desirable.Physical RequirementsThe ability to meet flexible and changing priorities.The ability to work under pressure is a must.100% standing, climbing ladders and stairs in a normal manufacturing environment.Ability to stand for the duration of the shift.Must be able to lift 50lbs. Ability to perform manual labor tasks for extended periods.
