Job summary

Miniat LLC in South Holland, IL is seeking a Regular Full-Time Labor-Sanitation associate to maintain sanitary equipment and comply with regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities include disassembling equipment, cleaning to GMP/HACCP standards using high‑pressure water at 140–160°F, enforcing safety rules, and supporting a team‑oriented operation. The role may involve night shifts, overtime and weekends as needed.

Qualifications

• Able to speak English preferred
• Previous related experience preferred
• Knowledge of GMP, HACCP and USDA regulations preferred
• Able to work night shift; overtime and weekends as needed
• Learn and understand the three main areas of contamination.

• Fulfill inspection requirement of equipment after sanitation process is complete.
• Must understand the corrective action process

Physical Requirements:

• Able to lift in excess of 50 pounds occasionally throughout 8 hour shift
• Able to tolerate hot/steam and wet conditions 8+ hours per day
• Able to work around and with chemicals including alkaline detergents, acid and chlorine liquids, and caustic soaps
• Standing, walking, and climbing 8+ hours per day

Training Period:

• Minimum six months meeting all above requirements; up to three years
