Job summary

CJ Schwan's is seeking a full-time sanitation associate in a food manufacturing environment. You will safely operate steam, high-pressure hoses, and CIP equipment to clean and sanitize production tools, equipment, and facilities, disassembling and reassembling equipment as needed, while following sanitation schedules and documenting all activities.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, 1+ years in sanitation or related industrial settings, basic understanding of safety standards

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 1+ years of related experience in sanitation, food manufacturing, or a similar industrial environment.
• Basic understanding of facility cleaning procedures and compliance with OSHA, local, state, and federal safety standards and GMPs.
• Ability to follow regulatory, customer, and company sanitation policies and procedures.
• Ability to stand/walk on concrete and work in cold and/or hot temperatures, and be available for overtime or weekends based on plant scheduling needs.
