Job summary

Tony's Pizza Events Center is seeking a full-time sanitation associate for a food manufacturing environment. 1st shift runs 6 a.m. to 6 p.m., with starting pay of $19.50 per hour plus a $1.50 shift differential for evening hours.

You will operate steam and high-pressure hoses to clean and sanitize equipment, disassemble/reassemble machinery as directed, and follow sanitation schedules to document routine cleaning. Basic knowledge of cleaning procedures and safety standards is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred with 0--1 year of related experience in sanitation, food manufacturing, or a similar industrial environment preferred.
• Basic understanding of facility cleaning procedures and compliance with safety standards (OSHA, local, state, and federal) and GMPs.
• Ability to follow regulatory, customer, and company sanitation policies and procedures.
• Comfortable working in varying environmental conditions, including hot/cold and wet/dry areas.
• Flexible availability to work full-time, overtime, weekends, or alternate shifts as required.

Responsibilities

• Operate steam and high-pressure hoses to sanitize equipment and facility; remove soil and contaminants per procedures.
• Disassemble and reassemble equipment as directed.
• Follow sanitation schedules and document routine cleaning of the facility and production line.
• Use chemicals at stated concentrations and document usage.
• Verify and document correct chemicals and concentrations; ensure cleaning passes micro indicator tests.

What You Will Do:

• Operate steam and high-pressure hoses while safely cleaning and sanitizing equipment, tools, and facility to ensure all soil and contaminates are removed per procedures.
• Disassembling and reassembling equipment as directed.
• Following sanitation schedules to conduct and document routine cleaning of the facility and production line.
• Using and documenting chemical use to stated concentrations and for appropriate applications.
• Verifying and documenting that correct chemicals and concentrations are used and that cleaning and sanitizing is complete to deliver equipment and infrastructure that is clean and passes all micro indicator tests.

What You Will Bring:
