Job summary

JP Mascaro & Sons is seeking reliable Sanitation Workers/Driver's Helpers for our Great Valley Division in Bridgeport, PA. You will support the driver, assist with safe waste collection, and help keep our trucks and routes running smoothly.

We value dependability, strong safety practices, and the ability to work outdoors in various weather. If you meet the listed requirements, you will join a long-standing family-owned company serving the mid-Atlantic region.

Qualifications

• Active, valid Driver's License required.
• Ability to stand, walk, lift, and carry for long periods.
• Ability to lift 75 pounds.
• Ability to work outside in all types of weather.
• Must be able to ride on the rear step of the truck while in motion.

Responsibilities

• Show up for work on time with proper PPE and ready to go.
• Partner with the driver to safely navigate the truck, especially in backing.
• Use proper hand signals and stay in the driver's vision while backing.
• Collect curbside waste and/or recycling safely and efficiently.
• Ensure spills or debris are cleaned up and customers are treated politely.
• Refer questions to the route supervisor as soon as practical.
• Assist with pre-trip and post-trip inspections and vehicle cleanliness.
