Job summary

Twin City Foods, Inc. is seeking a dedicated cleaner for the Lake Odessa, MI facility. This position involves cleaning all areas of the plant, handling cleaning chemicals, and maintaining sanitation stations.

The role requires working the 3rd shift from 9:30pm to 6:30am, with responsibilities including equipment cleaning and safety compliance. Qualifications include the ability to lift up to 50 lb, follow lockout procedures, and operate cleaning equipment safely.

Qualifications

• Must be able to frequently lift up to 50 lb.
• Must be able to follow lock out procedures on necessary equipment.
• Must have ability to tear down equipment and reassemble it.
• Must be able to properly use all cleaning equipment and chemicals.
• Must be able to work with chemicals and withstand the aroma of chemicals.

Responsibilities

• Cleaning of all areas of the plant including floors, ceilings, walls, gutters, and equipment.
• Dispense and use proper chemicals for each job.
• Maintain footbaths and hand wash stations and fork truck dip.
• Sanitize repack, dumper and scale room at changeover.
• Sanitize bean room, warehouse. Tinnel area, tote area, and repack tools.
• Keep drains cleared at all times.
• Prep all cleaning chemicals and utensils for different jobs in different areas.

Description of Primary Duties for Open Position:

• Cleaning of all areas of the plant including floors, ceilings, walls, gutters, and equipment, at times, using ladder, fork truck cages, lifts, and cat walks.
• Dispense and use proper chemicals for each job.
• Maintain footbaths and hand wash stations and fork truck dip.
• Sanitize repack, dumper and scale room at changeover.
• Sanitize bean room, warehouse. Tinnel area, tote area, and repack tools.
• Keep drains cleared at all times.
• Prep all cleaning chemicals and utensils for different jobs in different areas.

• Must be able to work off from ladders, fork truck cages and cat walks.
• Must be self-motivated and display logical thinking.
• Must be able to properly handle the use, dispersion, and storage of sanitation chemicals.
• Must be able to closely follow food safety and safety rules and procedures.

Must be able to perform all physical requirements of the job.

Must be able to read and see color.
