Job summary

JBS USA in Grand Island, Nebraska is hiring for an Hourly Sanitation Clean Up on C-Shift to maintain cleanliness of machinery and floors in a fast-paced production line.

You will set up, stock, and maintain cleaning equipment, monitor sanitation, and work in cold, damp conditions while lifting up to 50 lbs and walking 6–8 hours daily. Starting pay is $24.40 per hour.

Qualifications

• Basic cleaning in a production setting.
• Knowledge of sanitation practices is a plus.
• Ability to operate cleaning equipment safely.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize machinery and floors in a fast-paced production line.
• Setup, stock, and maintain cleaning equipment and supplies.
• Monitor sanitation and organization of assigned areas.
• Work in cold and damp environments.
• Lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs occasionally.
• Walk 6–8 hours daily.
• Stop and bend at the waist on occasion.
• Perform other duties as needed.

Functional Requirements

• Responsible for all basic cleaning in and around assigned area.


• Sets up, stocks, and maintains cleaning equipment and supplies.


• Monitors and maintains sanitation and organization of assigned areas.


• Must be able to work in a cold and damp environment.


• Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50lbs on occasion.


• Ability to walk up 6-8 hours' daily.


• Ability to stop and bend at the waist on occasion.


• Ability to work in fast paced work environment.


• Performs other duties as needed.
