Job summary

Elite Staffing, Inc. in Pleasant Prairie, WI, is seeking a Sanitation Associate to maintain cleanliness and food safety on processing lines. You will perform daily sanitation under GMP/HACCP guidelines and coordinate with the team to uphold safety and quality.

This role requires physical ability to lift up to 50-100 pounds, willingness to work flexible shifts, and the capacity to operate in noisy, wet, and cold environments. Pay starts at $16.50 per hour with escalation across shifts.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent is required.

Sanitation Associate / Laborer

The Sanitation Associate is responsible for all activities involved in maintaining the cleanliness and food safe environment of the Processing facility, surrounding area and equipment. The primary purpose of this job is to perform daily sanitation of all processing lines. Receives direction concerning sanitation activities all in conjunction with the company's Vision, Mission and Values.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Promotes a safe work environment through knowledge of the sanitation program and commitment to a safe workplace for all.
• Ensures safety is a priority in day to day functions.
• Ensures food safety and food defense in the plant.
• Implements all GMP and HACCP procedures that relate to cleanliness, food safety and pest control with the facility.
• Maintains a supply of cleaning chemicals necessary for the operation of the cleaning program and in compliance with OSHA and FDA regulations.
• Knowledgeable in best practices and safety, to understand MSDS information, and the proper use of personal protective equipment.
• Follows and complies with all Good Manufacturing Practices.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

• Have received a High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Must be flexible with schedule, including start times and weekend work
• Must be able to work in a team environment and work independently
