Job summary

Bonduelle Americas in Irwindale, CA is seeking a Sanitarian to support our sanitation team in production. This role helps maintain safety, quality and efficiency standards in refrigerated areas and works with an experienced Sanitarian to ensure proper cleaning of equipment and zones.

Responsibilities include following GMPs, reporting issues, cleaning with chemicals, documenting sanitation tasks, and wearing PPE.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds frequently.
• Able to work in a cold environment.

• Understand plant KPI’s (production, quality & safety).

Responsibilities

• Follow all GMP procedures.
• Follow all Food Safety, Food Quality and Food Security Policies.
• Report any equipment failure to the Sanitation Manager/Supervisor.
• Set up and tear down production equipment as needed to perform cleaning applications.
• Use chemicals to clean and sanitize food contact and non-food contact surfaces.
• Inspect all equipment before releasing the line to the Sanitation Manager / Supervisor for inspection.
• Responsible for documentation of job tasks performed on sanitation checklist.
• Must wear protective equipment and follow all safety procedures (PPE’S).
• Use basic cleaning hands tools to ensure proper and safe cleaning of conveyor belts, floors/walls, trashdock, and other areas of the facility.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
